The former sole director of ice vending machine company 24-7 Ice Pty Limited, Gary Leslie Cutcliffe, has appeared at Toronto Local Court charged with five counts of falsification of company books.
ASIC alleges that between around 1 May 2017 and 31 May 2017, Mr Cutcliffe engaged in conduct that resulted in the falsification of books relating to the company.
24-7 Ice was placed into administration on 27 April 2017. ASIC alleges that Mr Cutcliffe instructed staff of the company to amend lease agreements, create false sales and loan agreements and a false invoice after the administrator was appointed.
Mr Cutcliffe appeared at Toronto Local Court on 25 August 2023. The matter has been adjourned to 22 September 2023. Â
This matter is being prosecuted by the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.Â

Mr Cutcliffe has been charged with five counts of breaching s1307(1) of the Corporations Act 2001.
The maximum penalty for each charge is 2 years’ imprisonment and/or 100 penalty units.

On 22 September 2023, Mr Cutcliffe entered pleas of guilty for all five charges. The matter was adjourned for sentence on 6 October 2023 at Toronto Local Court.
