Credit licensees and representatives can lodge documents online. This includesÌýupdatingÌýlicence details, appointing auditors, and submitting reports.

Steps to sign up for online access and to log in

Steps to register for online access

WhenÌýregistering for online access, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Agree to the Electronic Lodgement Protocol and select the type of account you want to create

Before creating an account, you'll need to agree to ASIC'sÌýElectronic Lodgement Protocol.

You then select credit licensee or body corporate credit representative.

You must create a new account for each role you hold. For example, if you are a company officeholder and a credit licensee, you need to create twoÌýaccounts.

2. Enter your unique ASIC number

You'll need to provide your unique ASIC number. This is either your credit licence number or representative number.

Once all details have been entered, select 'Next'.

3. Select a username and password for your account

Select a username and password that will be used to log in to your account. We recommend selecting something easy to remember for your username.

Your password must:

  • be at leastÌýeight characters and at mostÌýsixteen characters and
  • contain one lowercase letter (a-z), one uppercase letter (A-Z), and one number (0-9).Ìý

4. Select a security question and answer

You will also need to provide a security question and answer. If you forget your username or password, we'll ask your security question. Make sure you select something that you can remember.

If youÌýcan't answer your security question, you'll haveÌýto create another online account.

Once you've entered all details, select 'Next'.

5. Verify your new username and password

A pop-up box will appear and ask you to verify your details. Enter your newly created username and password and select 'OK'.

6. Provide your contact details

You will then be asked to provide a contact email address and telephone number. ASIC will send all letters andÌýcorrespondence (like your annual statement) to your online inbox.

Once you've entered all details, select 'Next'.

7. Complete declaration and submit application

Answer the declaration and select 'Submit' to complete your application.

You'll then see a screen confirming your request has been submitted.

To activate your account, you will need to print and sign the Participation Agreement andÌýemail it toÌýagent.registration@asic.gov.au. ASIC will contact you within two business days to confirm that your account has been activated.

Steps to log in

When logging in to our online services, you'll need to follow these steps:

1. Enter your credit licence number or representative number

You will need to enter your company's ACN or ABN before you can access your account.

2. Enter your account's username and password

A pop-up box will be displayed. Enter the username and password,Ìýyou provided when registering your account.Ìý

If you forget your details, select 'Forgotten username' or 'Forgotten password' in the left hand column.

Select 'OK' once you've entered your details.

3. View your account details

Once logged in, you will see your 'Inbox' and any available messages for your licence.Ìý

You can also start a new form, continue a saved form, or view other forms youÌýsubmittedÌý(submitted forms are only available for 90 days).

Credit licensees and credit representatives can lodge the following documents online:

  • CL01 Australian credit licence application
  • CL03 Vary authorisations or conditions of an Australian credit licence
  • CL04 Change of credit licence name
  • CL08 Request to change licence status
  • CL11 Application for exemption or modification
  • CL20 Notification of change of credit licence details
  • CL30 Appoint a credit representative
  • CL31 Cease a credit representative
  • CL32 Vary the details of a credit representative
